Since its establishment in 1991, Sport SA has been a cornerstone in South Australia's sports industry, consistently leading the way in offering professional support, training, organising major events, and advocating for the sports community across the state.
Our collaboration with Sport SA involved a transformative journey to modernise their brand identity, establishing a solid brand framework that would enhance the organisation's visibility as a positive representative of all sports in South Australia. In driving this pivot, we explored various brand concepts, infusing them with Sport SA's values of advocacy, collaboration, recognition and celebration, resulting in vibrant, impactful visuals. The outcome was a contemporary brand concept that seamlessly blended vitality and playfulness with authority and structure. Since then, we've been incorporating these new brand elements into all of Sport SA's communications.
To achieve a unified rebrand, we reinvented Sport SA’s daily tools and assets to amplify their message, not only to the South Australian public but also to their members, partners, government stakeholders, sports clubs, athletes, and other leaders within the sports industry.
The static form of the logo symbolises the fluidity of athletic movements, encompassing both active and sedentary sports. In its animated state, the logo adapts to showcase a diverse range of athletic motions, aligning with the specific sport in focus. Our design choices, including a careful selection of colours, bold typography, dynamic motion graphics, and precise messaging, exude strength and excellence. These tools have empowered Sport SA to utilise their newly integrated identity to bolster the South Australian sports community.
