Since its establishment in 1991, Sport SA has been a cornerstone of South Australia's sports industry, consistently leading the way in providing professional support, training, major event coordination and advocacy for the sporting community across the state.

Our collaboration with Sport SA marked a transformative shift in their identity. We worked closely with the team to modernise the brand and establish a solid framework that enhanced the organisation’s visibility as a representative for all sports in South Australia. As part of this process, we explored a variety of brand directions, each grounded in Sport SA’s core values of advocacy, collaboration, recognition and celebration. The result was a vibrant and impactful visual identity that balanced energy and playfulness with clarity and structure.

Following the rebrand, we applied the new identity across Sport SA’s communications to ensure consistency and engagement across all platforms. We redeveloped everyday assets and tools to better communicate Sport SA’s message to a wide range of audiences — including the public, members, partners, government stakeholders, sports clubs, athletes and industry leaders.

The static logo symbolised the fluidity of athletic movement, capturing both active and sedentary sports. In motion, the logo adapts to showcase a variety of sporting actions, depending on the context. From the dynamic colour palette and bold typography to motion graphics and refined messaging, our design approach was crafted to communicate strength, inclusivity and excellence. These elements gave Sport SA a refreshed identity that supported its mission across the South Australian sporting landscape.
